This Durian is just too delicious. Maybe you think it is smelly, but it's
THE KING OF FRUITS !
Lack of knowledge about Durian? No worries.
I will share it with you =D
You know, Malaysia is really a country full with yummy yummy foods. I am not kidding. Foreigners came to Malaysia to taste our FOOD like NASI LEMAK, DURIAN, TAUHU BUSUK besides visit our beloved and wonderful country. They even pinch their nose to taste this smelly Durian.
There must be a reason why they produce a very strong odour. Know why? That's because long time ago, when Laksamana Cheng Ho came to Tanah Melayu, he sh!tted at a tree. Not long after that, the tree started to produce fruits. Guess what? The fruits were extraordinary which is today's Durian. However, people don't really eat them because they said it's Cheng Ho's shit. That is why it is so smelly. Don't tell me when you smell sh!t, you will say they smell nice -.- This is actually a tale from my sister. Not true ahahaha. Don't believe in this type of tale that will block you from tasting the delicious Durian.
Next, how does the name Durian came? Durian has a lot of spikes around it that can even puncture your tyres. It came from Bahasa Melayu, the word 'duri' which means spikes. That is why this spiky fruit has the name Durian.
If you are having diabetes, do not consume too much of Durian. They are rich in sugars. They are rich in Vitamin C and a good source of Carbohydrate, Protein and Fats too. Some people choose to have their rice with Durian.
However, do not consume Durian with coffee or alcoholic drinks. It will cause indigestion and bad breath. This concept is just same like drinking coca-cola while eating mentos.
Have a nice day with Durian. =D
All the best to my mum! She's opening the tough and unbeatable DURIAAANNNNN!!!
